Delete your Commentless data
In the app (fastest)
- Everything: open Commentless, go to Settings → Delete all my data and confirm. This deletes all your requests, your inbox, the files stored for you, your notification token and your anonymous account from our servers straight away. It can’t be undone.
- One request: open the request in the Requests tab and tap Delete request. This removes the request and its items in your inbox. Files that came with it are removed from your storage folder too.
Uninstalling the app does not delete your data from our servers, so use “Delete all my data” before you uninstall.
By email
If you no longer have the app, email support@commentless.app with the subject “Delete my data”. Sign-in is anonymous, so we can’t look you up by name or email: please include the Instagram post links you shared and roughly when. We delete the matching requests, inbox items, files and anonymous account within 30 days and confirm by email.
What is kept
Shared post records (the post link, what our account did and the creator’s reply) contain no information about you and are kept to serve other people who share the same post. Technical logs are deleted automatically, normally within 30 days. Full details are in the privacy policy.
